Regardless of the color you choose, we use the highest quality paint formulated to exceed one of the toughest paint standards in the industry for UV and salt spray resistance - the AAMA 2603-98.
And all of our Lang aluminum railings are painted in-house by trained Lang personnel using modern electrostatic powder coating equipment to ensure a quality finish.

Top & Bottom Rails: Package contains top & bottom rails, vinyl picket gasket and support leg(s). Painted with a UV Powder coated paint allows for durability while protecting it from the outdoor elements.

NEW! 1¾”Small Top Stair Rail: Package contains top & bottom rails, vinyl picket gasket and support leg(s). Is available in 8’ and 16’ lengths. Meets all U.S. gripability requirements.

8’ Handrail Package: A great and easy way to put up a wall mount handrail, which is prefinished and ready to go. Comes with end caps, wall brackets and splicing kit. This is a 1-5/8” round tube rail.

Picket Packages: Package includes precut straight pickets & patented “snap & wrap” spacers that give the rail the continuous and finished look.

Basket Picket Packages: Package includes precut curved pickets & patented “snap & wrap” spacers that give the rail the continuous and finished look.

Wide Picket Packages: This 1 ½” wide picket will provide the look of a 2” x 2” wood baluster, precut pieces come packaged with Lang's patented “snap & wrap” spacers.

Stair Picket Packages: This package of precut straight pickets & patented “snap & wrap” spacers is specially designed to fit Lang's easy to use stair system. Note: for stair use only (spacers are different size)

Basket Picket Stair Package: Specially designed and precut curve pickets come with Lang’s patented “snap & wrap” spacers. This package will work on Lang’s easy to use stair system.

Wide Stair Picket Package: The 1 ½” wide pickets come precut to work into Lang’s Easy to use stair system. Package includes patented “snap & wrap” spacers.

Mid Posts: Extra long deck no problem, the mid post allows you to maintain the continuous and clean look without sacrificing the strength of the rail system. This sleeved post come complete with all the fasteners.

End Posts: Start of or end your railings using a Lang end post. With its heavy wall design, mechanically fastened base plates, durable powder coated finish and easy to use sleeve system make this a dream to work with. Comes with all the fasteners.

90 degree Corner Post: Easy to use sleeved post makes taking the corner a dream, mechanically fastened base plates make for a stronger rail system. Comes with all the necessary fasteners.

Tempered Glass Panels: Custom glass panels available in two-inch increments from 42” and up. All are 36” high. Come conveniently wrapped in a wood frame for easy transportation to job site.

Post Bracket Package: Used as the connection where a rail meets a top stair post. Is packaged with all the necessary fasteners.

Wall Bracket Package: Used for mounting your top & bottom rail to the house or between existing post/columns. Comes with all the necessary fasteners.

Universal Angle Bracket: No unsightly break in the rail here, this bracket was designed to keep the clean and continuous look. Mounts to a post or wall to allow for those difficult angles. Fasteners included.

Stair Bracket Package: This punched bracket allows you to start or end stairs on existing posts or to join a landing to an end connection, with out having the cost of another post. Fasteners included.

12’ Glazing Gasket Package: This vinyl gasket is used to replace the picket gasket when you are installing a glass railing. Top & bottom gaskets should be stored in a cool place until used.

Base Plate Covers: The ultimate in finishing touches. Covers the fasteners on the base of the post and give that clean and finished look for that once-in-a -lifetime deck project. Available in two sizes 2” or 2-1/2”

ACQ Fastener Package: Contains 25 – 3” stainless steel screws, 1-1/8” drill bit and #3 driver bit. This package should be used when fastening post to ACQ Treated Wood. (Fasteners which are in posts may corrode and are not recommended for ACQ treated wood)

48” Straight Picket Gate: Adjustable gate package that can be simple cut to fit. Come with all fasteners, hinges and latches.

48” Basket Picket Gate: To match the curved picket design, simple cut to fit design. Comes with all the fasteners, hinges and latches.

48” Wide Picket Gate: Adjustable gate package that can simply be cut to fit. Comes with all the fasteners, hinges and latches.

 
Lang Do-It-Yourself Aluminum Railing Systems come in four attractive styles: Wide picket, straight picket, basket picket and glass.

The wide picket style uses 5/8" by 1 1/2" pickets. The straight picket and basket picket styles use 5/8" square pickets. Glass railings are designed to hold 5 mm or 1/4" tempered glass panels, 36" high. We offer a variety of glass panels of different widths.

How Much Do I Need?

The first thing to do is lay out the detailed dimensions of your deck, whether it is a replacement railing or still to be build and some simple graph paper will definitely help.  We have a railing layout worksheet under “additional info” that will definitely help.

In basic terms, 

• add up the lineal feet of railing
• starting at one corner of the deck,  measure out the position of the deck posts making sure the placement balances with the dimensions.  ( not 3’ at one end and then 6’ at the other end)
• determine the quantity and type of post you will need whether end posts, mid-posts, corner posts, or even the 135 degree post.   Add to the shopping cart.
• Now look to the spacing measurement and determine what quantity and lengths of railing sections work best,  6’ up to 14’,  they can be cut so if you have 5’ sections then the 10 railing section will work.  Add these to the shopping cart.
• Determine what type of pickets you like and then order the number of sections you will need, they come with spacers. Add these to the shopping cart.
• Then just to finish  add base caps,  and you have the basic requirements covered.
• For stairs,  the posts and rails are a different size and  therefore consider these separately. 
• For gates, these are a max of 4’ wide, but can be adjusted for  width and come with all fasteners to attach to the posts.
• If you are wanting to use glass, the maximum post spacing is 5’ and remember to order the glazing strip accessory, this fits into the channel to hold the glass pane.  (the glass is shipped within a frame and is well protected)
• Please read the installation instructions carefully
