Of the 130 cedar 2x4`s I ordered, approximately 12 boards are absolutely unusable. They were cracked down the middle with many missing chucks of wood from the board. I didn`t notice this damage until after the truck had left when I restacked them after having to push them off the delivery truck into the bed of my truck. Had I had gone to my local cedar lumber yard, I could have selected each board to insure it was usable prior to purchase.

Of the approximately 400 cedar boards ordered, only about 5% were below grade. Good quality material at a decent price. I would recommend BuildDirect to anyone needing the quantity of materials they provide.
